For the renovation for the special education school, located downtown, Manhattan, M+S had to strategically separate the tenant space into 2 phases so that the school could remain in session. Phase 1 has been completed and occupied since April. In phase 2, the framing of the walls and plumbing installation have been completed. The next steps are for the installation of the electrical outlets, lighting fixtures, mechanical ducts and fire alarm system before the general contractor can proceed with closing up the interior partitions and finishes.
